Midtown Crossing
Los Angeles, CA
2012

Midtown Crossing occupies an unusually shaped parcel of land in mid-city Los Angeles.  The neighborhood hosts wonderfully diverse housing stock with single- family houses representative of the multiple architectural styles of early 20th century Los Angeles, from the craftman wood bungalows to the Mediterranean influenced stucco buildings.  Todd Gray grew up nearby to Midtown Crossing and brought his understanding, respect and appreciation of it to the artwork he created specifically for the site.  His large photo mural is a tribute to the beauty and resilience of the community.
